Blue-eyed' boy Conner to be laid to rest in Hamilton

A toddler was hit by multiple verticals after he walked out onto the road from his  waikato  home.  He will be remembered  in hamilton today dy many friends  and family.  Conner Ian Lance Valvoi was only 18 months old died after the accident on state highway  25 at waitakaruru west of themes at 6:40 am on thursday. a funeral  notice said he left his dad Dylan  heartbroken  and his mum wendy devastated. connor is now playing in heaven. He is also leaving behind his three older siblings  - Savannah, 11, Rilley, 7, and Kayleigh, 6. conner has been  remembered by hi little gorgeous blue eyes. on thursday   connor's grandfather said that wendy was  dusey making the older kids school lunches when connor slipped out the ranch slider and onto the road. He said that connor's father was not at the house at the time. Family and friends of the little boy have help raise money for the little boy. A give a little page has been set up for the family  so they move and not have to go out of there house  and reminder  about what happened to her son. this amazing family   have been thought more heart aches  then any family around here  Wand and Dylan  oldest daughter savannah has also suffered tumors on her vocal cords and lungs which mens they go to the hospital on a regular basis. sahvanna was sadly receiving treatment when the accident happened. sahvanna has had around 260 operations to date.  Here is there  give a little page

On new year's day   it was  about 11 o'clock my  dad and Brendan were  blowing up the  the biscuit.  We had Just got back from the  playground . And they  told us to go get changed us 4 kids were excited because it was new plus Karly or I had never   gone on a biscuit before nether has Tayla . We had got down to the beach  and put our life jackets on just in case we full off. It was really fun we got three turns  on the biscuit because it is a three seater mum and  Brenda  tried it to.

was really interested  to see what we do in the  test it got me thinking and now I  know what integers I have. i have got word smarts and music smarts. word smart  i thought i would never have because writing is something i don't enjoy doing so when it come back like that i was super surprised.music smarts  is something I enjoy doing i use to play the ukulele but now i play the guitar i am now learning how to pike.

Where do you fit and why ?    I think I am a level four because  when  someone stop at the crossing i will wave  to say thank you. I help mum and dad around the house like putting the dishes away  setting the table and making sure my room is tidy  i look after myself I make sure i am safe wherever i go.  sometimes people say hi to me so  i  say hi dake to be nice  i always find away to de nice to people like if they drop something  i will pick it up and take it to them . one time i was in the four square  and an old lady was getting some onions and one roll away so i picked it up  for her she said thank you and sonde pretty impressed. my goal to get to a level five is going to be picking up more rudish  saying please and thank you.

A 4 year old boy  was on holiday in  Melbourne with his family when he come across a   vending machine in his hotel. The 4 year old  boy attempted to   put his hand into  the receiving of the vending machine and was soon stack. Soon emergency services arrived and had to cut the boy arm free. The boy  was soon taken to  royal children's hospital.

For the apple tower  me and my group made a apple tower the point of the game  is to make the tower out of straws and you have to make sure it can stay on it without braking. ours worked but looked really  strange i enjoyed making the apple  towers.

the marama way is like our learning powers but is not. I fit into Be brave because i like to take risks sometimes in my learning  like when  am sitting and have nothing to do i will take risks and write it better.

the marama way  is like our expectations and rules in the class room.

whetu  is so much different to marama because you have a marked  fix ups and finished pill I have enjoyed being in whetu for the last two years because it was different too what i was use to and calling the roll in the  morning and not having to put up your avatar.   

In marama is so much different to what I thought it would be it is so much calmer than i thought it would be and i like the new space. I like making the avatars  because it is like a cartoons character of your safe

Basketball game

On Friday my family and I went to Auckland. We went  to watch a Breakers game. My mum and Dad brought me and my sister a Breakers singlet.  The singlet I got was number 10 Tom Abercrombie. When we got inside Vector Arena they called out all 5  of the  players  from the Perth Wildcats team that were playing.   But then it went dark and there was smoke all over the ground and light shooting everywhere  they started calling out all the 5 Breakers that were starting. We were winning till we were all most tied up  and was on the edge of my seat. When the Breakers got a foul and had to shoot at the goal we had to put up our hands till they had shot it.  In the second half we had to stand up till the Breakers got a goal they didn’t get that goal we were looking for because there was a foul. At the end of the game  was sitting on the side of my seat. The Breakers  ended up winning 88- 80 I enjoyed watching that game it was really fun. 

              

With my maths this year I had started in a higher maths group  then went down but to me that was ok  because I am still learning what  I want to. My favourite thing that I have done this year will be geometry even though I have not done much and I loved making  our farm that we are making at the moment.  I think that IXL has helped me a lot this term. I love Working with people in my  group. here is a picture  of my  group working together.

Here is  a video of my hight jump video. I love doing high jump but I am not the best at it. But my goal is trying to lad instead of flopping on the mat. The hardest for me was trying to get over the bar.   

iDrive

Today for iDrive me and  5 other students played a game, it was called a cup game. Emma, Aly, Hayley, Leon and Daniel played this. I have never played a game like this before. It was easy till we had to get blindfolded. The two people that were not in that round had to point out when they had to go, that was the hard part.

To play this game you will need some  rubber bands and string you will also need 4 people to play this game plus lines to follow. I enjoyed playing this game and we used creativity by adding in the blindfold that made it harder, plus we use collaboration by working together to get to the end. Here is a picture.

Today for i Drive  my street this week Ashling, Olivia, Emma, Sophie, Elaina, Kate   and I   made up a circus act. Emma  and  I  found it hard to  find  an act that was hard and off the ground. We finally found a way to make it because we were tight rope walkers. Kate was a clown  slash tight rope walker.  Sophie and Olivia were clowns with a very funny  act. Elaina was an acrobat  and Ashling  was  the host. We found a way  to make the characters like us. I liked creating  the courses because you did not know what was going to happen.  We used creativity because we had to make the course  and make sure it worked..

On the first Sunday of the holiday I did Paeroa to Thames run.  The night  before  the race  I got a call from Mrs Kennedy to see  if I was feeling fit because a kid in my class had pulled a hamstring.  He was supose to be running for the school team. Mrs Kennedy asked if I could run for the school team as well as her team. I said yes.
 it was the day of the race and I was feeling a bit nervous. After I had started  i was feeling so much better. I   ran the first 2 legs  and then one for Mrs Kennedys team. It smelt  really bad and all country side looked pretty cool as I was running along. After I handed the belt to Tawa   my legs felt like  they were going to fall off.  After that  I had a big long drink of flavoured water  and some energy chocolate. We had to try  get to the next  stop in time for the person to go for  their run. After 3 to 4 runners it was  my turn to run the last leg  again.  Karly  and Jamie ran with me  to the end.  It was a really cool day.   I would do it again.😃
