Sweden bans m&m logo

Sweden  bans m&m logo
A Swedish court has ruled that the firm mars can no longer sale m&m's with there lower  case lettering m&m. the  court ruled that  the logo is to similar to the to the single lower case m used by the Swedish lower case m used by the Swedish chocolate covered penunt brand Marabou.  If mars doesn't appeal it will have to use the capital  M&M logo. In Sweden in July mars said  it also believes that  no confusion sits betwen the two chocolates. Marabous is owned  by America's food an drink  company witch also owens cadbury and Toblerone. Marabou has been using the lower case m on its chocolate bar sincethe 1960s.

My opinion:  I find this really strange because wouldn't you make the one that has been around the longest.

  •  capital: the city or town that functions as the seat of government and administrative centre of a country or region.
  • confusion: uncertainty about what is happening, intended, or required.
  • Marabou:  down from the wing or tail of the marabou used as a trimming for hats or clothing.
